Google Public DNS
So in their attempt to rule the Internets, Google has rolled out its own public DNS service, aptly named Google Public DNS. Simply point your DNS servers to:
8.8.8.8 and/or
8.8.4.4
and you’re set. From people outside the US, Google’s service seems to outperform OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) in DNS lookup time according to this test.
